Bernie Elementary is currently accepting applications for the following:

5th & 6th grade Social Studies and Reading teacher for the 2019-2020 School year.  

5th & 6th grade Language/Reading teacher for the 2019-2020 School year.

5th & 6th grade Mathematics/Reading teacher for the 2019-2020 School year.

High School Mathematics for the 2019-2020 school year. Courses include 7th Grade Math, Algebra II, Geometry, and Math Analysis.

The job will remain open until filled.

Bernie R-XIII Schools has an opening for a full-time bus driver. This would include a morning/afternoon route as well as evening student trips.

Salary begins at $18.03/hour (15 hours per week guaranteed) pending experience and includes full paid health insurance, life insurance, and opportunity to purchase vision/dental.

Candidates MUST have at least a Class B CDL with school bus/passenger endorsements. Also, candidates must pass a FBI background check and drug/alcohol screening..

Applications are kept on file for two years.  When a position opens in your specific area, all pertinent information will be reviewed.  Those applicants whom we decide to interview will be notified and then interviewed by at least the principal.
