Q: Where did you go to school? A: As most of you know, I have lived in Bernie all of my life. I attended Bernie school K-12 and graduated in 2000.
Q: What activities were you involved in during High School? A: I was a member of: Beta Club, FFA, FBLA, Band (Drum major/Clarinet), Choir, Spanish Club, Speech and Debate. I participated in Model UN, History Day, All County Band, District Music Contest, Girl's State and the High School play. I was also a cheerleader for three years.
Q: Where did you go to college? A: I attended Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau on a full-tuition history day scholarship that I earned my Freshman year in High School. While at college I participated in: The Golden Eagles Marching Band, the Concert Band, Sigma Sigma Sigma, ODK, Phi Eta Sigma, Phi Kappa Phi, MNEA, College Republicans, and I was a SEMO Student Ambassador. I also worked with the History Day program while in college.
Q: Where else have you taught? A: While in college I taught in the following school districts: Scott City, Sikeston Jr. High, Risco, and Bloomfield.
Q: Do you have any pets? A: I have two cats, Jericho and Plato.
Q: What type of music do you listen to? A: I listen to a little bit of everything: Country, pop, Rock, Rap (on rare occasions), Southern Gospel, Classical.........
Q: Is it true that you like the WWE (Professional Wrestling)? A: Yes, you heard right, I am a huge wrestling fan! When I was in high school wrestling was very popular, but I hated it! After watching "Tough Enough" on MTV I became a huge fan. While in college I did an anthropology project on Independent Professional Wrestling. I spent an entire semester studying wrestling in Dyersburg, TN with a group known as Lethal Attitude Wrestling. I learned a lot about the business and the "secrets" of wrestling. My favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels.
