Bernie Elementary School

Welcome to the Bernie Elementary School! Our elementary building houses approximately 300 students ranging from preschool through sixth grade. There are many exciting and innovative educational opportunities occurring in our building.

  • Students are taught math skills through NUMBERS by Eureka Math Squared. This program helps students build strong, foundational math skills by:

    • Helping students develop and apply conceptual knowledge

    • Fostering meaningful classroom discussions

    • Incorporating more problem solving, including high-level tasks

    • Using math manipulatives with the students for better understanding

  • Title I math specialist who helps the teachers and works with struggling students
